Default rear seats '12 xf portfolio

uhhh how in the hell do they fold down?
no switch, cable, string... nothing!!!
looked in trunk same... am I missing something???
I can feel between the seats they are supposed to be 60/40 since I can put my fingers between the center part and the passenger rear seat...
but dammed if I can see anything how to release them
🤔😤😡

help! lol

You may not have them then. Have you checked your build sheet to see if they were fitted ?

dont have one unfortunately
I tried the vin lookup as well and they don't give another of info..
well dang I guess I'm SOL as they say

wanted to remove the rear shelf so I can remove old ugly tint ah well...

I've read you can get the info on Topix. I went to a Jag dealer & asked for a build sheet, which lists all the car's features & highlights the optioned ones. If it's not on the list, your car left the factory without it. You could try calling a dealer & ask if they'd email it.

You can't miss them. They've got yellow handles & are attached to the underside of the parcel shelf. Mine is a late 09 (10MY).

thanks where is topix and what is it? and nope no handles, cables, nothing
I did try another vin lookup site and no it doesn't show anything that says 60/40
so can't get them down

Google, Jaguar Topix or do a search. Much easier 😊.

cool ty I'll check it out
really wanted to fold rear seats and take the shelf off to remove old window tint...
was going to do the trash bag method but now I guess I'll just steam it off

hehe you got to pay for that topix site

heheh true true
happy this site has saved me a ton of money maintenence wise compared to what dealers were gonna charge
