SSM72742 - Tire Pressure `wheel not monitored `message displayed
Someone here simetime saw `wheel not monitored `message displayed on IC:
Left Front transmitter assembly no signal
Right front transmitter assembly no signal
Left rear transmitter assembly no signal
Right Rear transmitter assembly no signal
The cause in nterference between the wheel sensors and the receiver located in the centre console and if in your smartphone activated WiFi and BlueTooth, this interface losts signal from TPMS sensors.
As varian you could reroute interface to another place such as roof, here is the small instruction for you:
1) Disconnect the battery
2) Remove the TPMS receiver in the centre console. Cut of the connector allowing approximately 10cm of wire. Ensure you note the wire colours and terminal locations.
3) Using the three inline connectors from the harness repair kit join the three new wires
4) The harness is routed from the central console alongside and existing harness under the passenger seat, and then along the edge of the carpet towards the front of the car, and the bottom of the 'A' pillar, and then up the 'A' pillar
and into the head liner, with the TPMS receiver mounted in the 'valley' of the headliner above the sun visor
5) Using the remaining 3 inline connectors reattach the connector ensuring the correct wire orientation.
6) The module should be retained in place using a suitable material.
Hope it helps!
