Transmission Fluid

What color (colour) is the transmission fluid in a 2009 XF SC?

Nobody knows as there is no dipstick. Transmission oil needs no changes in normal service. Ever.

It's a gold color. It should have

this fluid

from the factory. ZF rates the fluid at ~62k mile/8 year change interval. As noted above Jaguars change interval is much higher. I'm not sure I'd change it unless you had issues or you were over 100k miles.

If you plan to keep the car service the transmission about every 60K miles. If you only lease or turn over cars quickly I would not worry about it.
