I finally traded in my 2002 X-Type with 201,000 miles for a 2009 XF S/C with 44,000 miles. All I can say is that I'm super excited!!! What a big upgrade!

Thanks! I'll get some pics up soon. It came with a 3month/3000 miles power train warranty, but I plan to get a full bumper to bumper before I hit 60k miles.

 

I'm sure u'll love the car, but yea I would definitely get an extended warranty. Getting anything repaired with these cars is expensive and there are a few known issues reported by other people on this forum.

Yes, my X-type did have a lot of miles on it, hence why I upgraded. I was a little scared to drive it anywhere.

I'm looking into extended warranty plans now, they are really expensive for 4yr/60k+ plans. Do you guys have any recommendations?
