V3.0L V6 engine coming out of X250 chassis from top is possible.
Motor mount, in picture 2, looks a little messed up, too. However, that could have happened during the engine removal being done without removing, or pivoting back the car's hood. I worked on a few engine swaps, in my earlier days, and never did an "R&R" with the hood in place......
I bought a 2013 3.0 SC with a water blown engine as a donor car for my 2015 XFR-S and i removed the engine with the tranny attached from the front. But, i have the whole front end stripped, no rads or support. If you have a lift, then drop the cradle, if not, then remove the front end and roll it out. Not very hard, one person can do it, the worst part is the exhaust cat pipe bolts.
Ugh, and never ever leave the A/C system open like that. Whenever you remove any of the hoses, always immediately plug them with silicon cone plugs that they sell on Amazon. You never want the humid atmosphere and dirt and debris having their way with an open A/C system. It's why the A/C will fail soon after this type of work and the owner will be complaining they make unreliable A/C systems.
they come out the top by the book which is beyond stupid nowadays but 15 years ago it was a lot harder to get all your dealer network to buy powertrain lift tables
sub drop is by far the fastest way to do it. if you have to diy on the floor strip the nose all the way. v8sc by the book is blower r&r just to get the trans out you can connect the dots how to get around it
