Default What body kit is this?

This 2011 XF S/C seems to have an XFR front bumper / body kit. Was this an option or has this been done after market?

Interested to know as I might want to do this to whatever one I find..

One of the forums did this to their car following an accident if I am recalling correctly. I thought it was a 2012 though. Maybe a search could find that thread. Have you checked to see if any accidents reported on the car?

That would have been me. Mine is a 2012. Not sure about the front. But, the rear is just an easy valence replacement. Mina gallery has then for ~200. The front... Wasn't that a common supercharged front for 2011?

That is the XFR front end. I swapped mine to a XFR front as well.

Looks to have aftermarket exhaust or tips as well. Doesn't appear to have the side skirts though, so not a full conversion.

No XF has ever had OEM front fog lights.

Really? I thought on the standard frontal, the silver strips housed the fog/daytime running lamps?

Odd they wouldn't include fog lamps.

On the "base" 2008 to 2011 XF (ie not the XFR) DRLs were an OEM option, and they were built into the chrome strips in the lower grilles. But they are DRLs, not fog lights, and very few people ordered them from new so they are very rare. There are no OEM spares left anywhere on the planet that I am aware of, the JLR supplier stopped making them many years ago, but you can get after-market Chinese made ones.
No 2009 to 2011 XFR ever came with OEM DRLs, it simply was not an option as no provision was made for them. I have fitted after-market DRLs to my 2010 XFR, but I'm not aware of anyone else having done so.
From 2012 to 2015 the "facelift" XF came with standard DRLs on all models, built into the headlight assemblies, and commonly known as "J-blade" DRLs.

Here is the invoice for the 2011 XFR bumper I picked up:

Bumper cover - c2z12008xxx - $889.40
Deflector - c2p13334 - $12.72
Undertray - c2z4910 - $227.04
Cover - c2z10271 - $29.65
Finisher - c2z4966 - $95.04 (chrome trim ring for outer lower grill)
Finisher - c2z4965 - $95.04 (chrome trim ring for outer lower grill)
Lower grill -c2z4963 - $97.92
Lower grill -c2z4911 - $97.92
Lower grill -c2z4968 - $97.92

I was in a minor fender bender that nicked the front bumper so insurance paid for it all including paint. I don't recall what paint cost but I'm sure it was in the $500-$1500 range.

I've seen this car in San Diego.
It looks very weird to me.
Did anyone else notice the mismatched wood trim on the console?

Here is the autocheck on this car.
It was a lease. The wood in the center console does not match.
The check engine light is on.

Welcome to AutoCheck

I thought it was odd to have this body kit and its not mentioned as a selling point at all. I didn't notice the mismatched wood.

What are you guys thinking? an accident cover up? Or just a replacement piece of wood out of preference or what?

I think the shop that did the work ordered it through the local dealer. Typically they get better pricing than a normal person would so I'm not sure how accurate the pricing is.
