Wheel rotation, new rims and TPMS sensors...
Is the XF smart enough to figure out when wheels are rotated on the car and "update" the new location of each sensor?
Also, planning to get some new wheels for this car in a month or so.
The new wheels will have new sensors on them - will the XF figure out that and update the new sensors, or is there a re-lean procedure that we can follow?

Make sure you get the frequency off of, and the same frequency as your original Jag sensors.

So you do need to clone the new sensors with the ID of the car.
Cool... good to know - I assumed I can just put new ones in and they will just work.
Is there a way to disable the TPMS monitoring system?
I personally never liked this and I would gladly monitor the pressure in the tires myself - I have been doing this for more than 20 years and never had any issues . I don't need a sensor to tell me what to do

Too bad .
Do you remember the Doorman's part number of the sensor and tools you had? Or the sensors?
I was looking on their site and it looks like the sensors they have is only up to 2011 XF... !? Wouldn't previous years to 2012 years use similar stuff?
https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-283...tor%2520Sensor
And found their tool - locally seems to be going for around $300 CAD
