Hi All,

I'm looking to add an X pipe at the cross section and delete the first resonator. I know this is a fairly common mod. Does anyone have a recommendation on which x-pipe is the best fit? Hoping someone can point me to an ebay link or summit racing part before I start measuring and getting out the tape measure.

I think I used these... Magnaflow 10790
I think I went with 2.25" because the existing exhaust pipes slid over them for quick/easy fitment and welding.

I’m also looking into an xpipe, though I heard exhaust pipes are 2.5 inch. I’ll go 2.5 inch if that’s the caseCan anyone verify?

 

I'm pretty sure they are 2.5", which is why the exhaust pipes fit over the 2.25" x-pipe. I actually need to look at mine to make sure that's how they did it, though. They might've just butted them up. It's been so long that it's hard to remember for sure. Nobody wants to constrict their exhaust. Ha-ha!

 

stock pipes are 2.25.... both XF 5.0 (sc and R) and 3.0/ I installed XFR exhaust on my 3.0... measured it all out
