XF 2013 no Voice or Bluetooth module
I just bought a XF 3.0 s/c 2013, VIN indicates LESS BLUETOOTH & LESS VOICE ACTIVATED CONTROLS.
Purchased a Bluetooth module, have the MOST Y cable but there is also a 32 pin connector to which only 2 wires are connected, pin 11 and 30. Are these wires power or CAN connection, any help on this topic please.
I have also heard that the Bluetooth module was built into the radio in the 2013 models, if so, just need to activate via SDD?
If the XF 2013 should be pre wired, I did not find them under the LHS seat, there I only found the DAB module. I looked in the boot, no Bluetooth wires left or right.
Voice activation controls, i heard that its only a factory option and cannot be installed later?
Thanks for any help
At present I am stuck....

Power. There is no CAN connection as the bluetooth module is on the MOST bus (the orange optical cables).
Maybe. But it's also universally acknowledged that the voice activation is complete garbage so I wouldn't worry about missing that.

Hello BB, i read your thread, very interesting, when I have resolved my Bluetooth problem I might get round to it.
Bluetooth module has a MOST connector and a 32 pin connector to which only the power is connected through 2 wires.
Would you by chance know which are the pin numbers?

im pretty sure you should be able to just enable via SDD-CCF software change, as you say , its in the head unit, and no prewiring exists in the post 2012 cars ( just read through the whole schematic for it )

the module cannot run without power, MOST connection is only optical and I measure no signal through the module due to lack of power.
The problem is, i do not know which of the 32 wires to connect to.

Hi BB,
Unfortunately my car does not have a Bluetooth module, it would be on the MOST bus and it is not.
I must install the module I bought if only I knew with which pins of the 32 i could supply the 12V.
Have no idea where to look, would actually need to open a car that has it installed.
Will keep searching...

my car has bluetooth , it is not on the MOST system, it integrated into the head unit which has the MOST connection
have you even tried selecting it in the head unit menu ?
its the 'phone' selection from the home setting screen ,
press ' phone ' it should search for bluetooth devices to connect to
do you have a manual to read ?
