XFR-S Convenience Mode
Hey,
So both my Skoda and my 10 year old ranger rover has this facility but for the life of me i cannot work the Jag out!!!
When you have two keys to the car i have one and the husband has the other. When you unlock said car with a certain key both the Skoda and the Rangie changed seating position, mirrors and steering wheel of the car.
Now the manual states that the Jag has a convenience mode but it doesn't seem to work. Is it because the car has keyless driving where you do not have to put a key into the actual vehicle to make it drive.
Its the small things that annoy me these days.
Hope you knowledgeable people can solve this for me.

I don't believe the XF has this feature. What they call 'convenience mode' simply means when you unlock and open the door you can immediately adjust seat position, mirrors etc before you start the ignition
But it doesn't appear that it has the auto memory linked to the keyfob unfortunately

No XF X250 has ever had this feature, and I don't think the X260 has it either.
As allenman85 says the best you can do is set two or more seat memory buttons then adjust the seat when you first get in by using "your" button.
I have always set the driver's seat as button 1 for me and button 2 for SWMBO, then the reverse on the passenger seat.
