Anyone know where I can get the 2 manifolds for 96' XJR?
Tried all the parts sites and ebay. No luck :-(

P.S.: I am in canada.

I also need an egr tube, but that is only $200 bucks or so, and can get it from the dealer.

 

I got a pair on Ebay...but it took a couple months of checking and waiting.

In case you didn't know the XJR manifolds are the same as the regular XJ6....which broadens your search.

Jaguar Classic Parts (Exhaust Manifold-3.2/4.0 Litre - Parts for XJ Series from (V)720125 to (V)812255 (X300) | Jaguar Classic Parts UK) suggests you should look out for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and air injection, but as long as the car is from the same country as yours you should be OK.

They all crack eventually so will be in short supply. I bought two cracked replacements and had them welded up. With the heatshield on you'd never know.

They'll all *fit* the engine OK but the 1995 USA cars (XJR at least, possibly XJ6 as well)did not have EGR....so they are not drilled and tapped for the EGR pipe.

AFAIK all the USA cars (XJR and XJ6) had the air injection, though.

Waiting for pictures from the xj6 person. He said there was a hairline along all 4 sets of the ones he has - I wander if it's a factory defect or something. I'll post them here once I get them.

take a look on ebay, found a set for 130.00 with no cracks. there are several listings at reasonable prices. 1995-1997 manifolds xj6, same as xjr.
