Default 2011 XJL Electronic Shift Lever (stuck in park) help

Hello,

My 2011 XJL engine seized up and I'm trying to get in neutral. Because the car won't start, there is no access to shift knob. I tried this video below for an XF but seems to be different. I pulled up the trim but chrome piece came up too and couldn't locate Electronic shift lever to release. Can anyone confirm if it's in the same location or if I need to do something different here? There seems to be tons of videos for the XF but can't find anything for the XJ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
JJ

Your release is in the engine bay. It is on the driver side of the supercharger next to the fuel lines. It is marked with red ribbon. You should have a special tool in the trunk that you can connect to it. Once connected all you need to do is twist to about 90 degree and your car will go in neutral.

Good Luck!

There is a lever located in the center console storage on the left side under the tray that you can place a couple of pens. Pull it up and it should disengage the transmission manually. UPDATED PDF

Great stuff XJsss!
The bottom of the document is cut off and some printing is missing.
Any chance you could re-post it?
Might only be missing a line or two.
