2017 XJL: In the overhead b/t the drivers seat and passenger seat, there is a plastic cover just behind where the three switches for the sliding roof/rear window shade are. It is not hinged/removable and seemingly has no purpose. It is NOT a light. But we all know there must be a purpose for it. My Jaguar service advisor suggests it's for the front airbags/seats. I asked just how does THAT work. He does not know. But nobody else, so far, can tell us just what is it's purpose and how does it work.

Does anybody KNOW?
