According the Escort's website that only a display. You still have to buy the radar and laser units and at 3 grand I'm good with my Valentine1 @ $399.

Rj Ok looking at the mirrors on radar-mirror.com I think you may have the solution. They have some really cool solutions. Of course I'm a V1 fan and their solutions are quite ingenious, to say the least.

Already reached out to them to see what it would cost. I'll keep you posted.

I've had the 9500 CI in my car for about 3yrs now but I haven't used it in about 2yrs - every single time I turn it on it constantly picks up false radar and laser signals, I think many of the radar signals its picking up is from other vehicles (blind spot assist or distronic cruise control?, etc) but I have no idea whats triggering the laser. It was ok for about the first year then it seems the more technologically advanced cars have become the worse its gotten. I've had several different models of Escorts/Passports for 10+ years and its never been this bad before.

Has anyone else experienced this? Its extremely irritating to have paid $1200? for something that I literally can't use anymore due to false alarms.

That's what I like about the Valentine V1, they always offer updates and the current version has an algorithm that got rid of almost all "junk Radar" alarms. BTW creator of Valentine was the original man at Cincinnati Microwave (Passport & Escort).
