I installed the ambient lighting a while ago. I paid around €300 in total, including customs. Delivery took about 2–3 weeks.
It then took me roughly two weekends to translate everything from Chinese and understand the wiring before I could install it.
Overall, I’m very happy with the result. My only issue is that it reflects on the windshield, although you do get used to it after some time.
You can set pretty much any color or lighting effect, as well as adjust the brightness. That said, even the lowest brightness setting is still a bit too bright for me. I’m thinking about either covering the LED strip at the top or pushing it further in.
Thats the main reason I didn't install mine like that. It looks damn good wrapped around in that fashion tho. I opted to follow under the wood trim. The chrome edge makes the white acrylic strip blend on perfectly.
