I was just reading about people putting a device to enable video in motion. Thats all fine and Id like to have that but I mainly want Apple CARPLAY, Is there anything out there that can add that in the 16 XJR ? Man id kill to have it, my wifes jeep has it factory and I installed a new head unit in my Maserati GTS that has it but i dont want to swap displays really. If so is there a way to cast your iphone to perhaps put a football or baseball game on the screen while cruising ? THANK YOU

Did you know it's illegal to watch video while driving?
That's why vehicles that provide it in other countries can't provide it in the U.S. by law.

That would be nice if there were a simple way to connect Apple or Android. I'd prefer it for navigation use instead of the quickly-outdated navigation systems that are hard-wired into vehicles..

You're going to have to swap the screen, one way or another. I have an Android unit that was only used for a month or two that I am going to pull and sell, feel free to message me if you are interested.

 

Google "CarLinkit" - gives you carplay and android auto

 

My local automotive audio shop recommends this.
