Hi, My outside door latch began freezing this past winter. I sprayed some wd40 then graphite and it worked for a while. It's now summer and a similar problem is occurring. First thing in AM it works fine but over the day it works sometimes and then no. I'm guessing corrosion in the cable that is listed In the service bulletin for freezing locks. I really am not looking forward to removing the window. Has anyone done this repair?

I have removed the door panel to upgrade speakers and I don't believe you need to touch the window to replace the door latch assembly?
It is cable operated and I think your wise to replace it before it freezes again and gets stuck.

Do you have service bulletin about the latch problem?
