Truly impressive. One or two fellow members on a UK forum have had problems with the timing chain tensioners on their 5-litre S/C XFs so interesting to read that you've never had an issue with yours.
(My 3-litre diesel XF-S had 194,000 miles on it when an Audi destroyed it in icy weather. It was still running sweetly.)

117,200 miles on my Supersport (I have given her a hard life too....)

Can chain tensioners, chains etc replaced at 94k miles.
Also done plugs, SC snout, water pump, brake discs and pads.
Other than that....touches wood*!

Interesting what you say about the cat. Mine missfires occasionally and also gets very hot by my leg near the transmission tunnel, wonder if theres a cat there.....

How can you tell its misfiring? My 2011 XJL SH seems fine when accelerating but at idle I can feel subtle bumps in the idle. Glad to hear about the cam chain tensioners holding up.
