Does anyone know where to find the engine number on a 2010 XJL Supersport?

 

It is half way down the engine somewhere but I think it is also on the valve cover:

The comment a few posts above that picture says:

"Pull off the foam sound deadening pad on your right valve cover and see what the sticker right on the engine says."

I see you've been a member for several years but this is only your second post and a change of vehicle.

The Engine Number on the 5.0L and 5.0L Supercharged V8's is stamped on an engine web on the left-hand side of the cylinder block behind the engine mounting.
