Hey, I own a Jaguar XJ L 2012 Supercharged and wanted to share this product I've been using (not sponsored) for the last 7 years on my cars including 2 of my previous jags and thought this could help some others who have been opting to do the more complicated tasks of just replacing their lenses.
There's a DIY kit I've been using that comes with more than what you need to do 1 set of assemblys per box without any power tools. Just requires some elbow grease, takes no more than an hour to complete. On my xj8 which I had for 2 years before it was totaled and saw 10k miles, the headlights stayed shiny the whole way through.
Here's some samples from the xj (headlights and Tailights).
Driver side before restoration Passenger side before restoration Passenger side after Driver side after Another clear photo (1k miles later)
And onto the Tailights~ which were only a bit foggy but I was more concerned about the streaks that is really visible in person when you walk up to the rear of the car thanks to the previous owner
Passenger side Before Driver side before (sorry you cant see the white streaks in these photos) Driver side before close up(you can see the streaks more here) Passenger side After Driver side After Driver side top down angle after Top down angle passenger side after After 130 miles
Here's a link to the product in Amazon https://a.co/d/fILVxhS
If the link no longer works after the thread gets old it's called "CERAKOTE® Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit"
I used the Cerakote kit a month or so ago, and there was a post around that time from someone who was considering getting his headlights replaced until a few of us suggested using a kit like the Cerakote. IIRC that's the kit he ended up getting.
It's a good kit, hopefully it really lasts longer than other brands that work great for a year or so, then needs to be done again.
I never thought of using it on the tail lights though, fortunately haven't had to... yet. Maybe some day.

Nice!
And didn't know someone already had posted in the forum about the product. But hopefully my photos help with some people who need visual samples at the least. In my experience if you sand well enough and do one swipe during ceramic application it lasts more than 2 in my experience. But then again I live in a place with all 4 seasons.
