A piece of cake. Less than 5 minutes. Pop of the plastic painted piece of the mirrors. 2 screws and a plug. Only cost me like $15 too.

This was a lot more Tedious than expected to Say the Least. But the results were very Promising. Another Reason I Pursued This, was to enhance the Turn Signals as well by hooking up the new AfterMarket Halos and the StripLights. They are Also RGB with at least a hundred Modes. Lastly, I’ve decided to paint the side Reflector in the Headlights( Originally Orange) To Black to match my White On Black XJ. I was very pleased with the results. Here are some Progress Pics.

Please share any thoughts or Questions. This is still in Progress until I fix my hood and Bumper.

I can’t wait to put some lenses on these!

I’m currently in process of modifying mine… not a easy task with so many wires and modules in the way.. they way im doing mine is I’ll have a can bus unit which everything will tie up with the car’s system and they will both talk with each other.

if you have a oven big enough to fit them then yes as the full butyl will soften up together, with heat gun its section at a time

I don't put toxic materials in my oven. I create one using a cardboard box and my heatgun. Its what a lot of people do... and it works well.
