Can a Land Rover Evoque's start button (part# LR094038) be used in an XJ (part# C2D4509)? Someone told me so.
I have my XJ button cracked but could not find just the button cover anywhere. While LR button cover can be found for just around $10.

If both look same, then it will probably fit and work. Mine also cracked and the button face had a gaping hole. I ordered a stick on metal button and rim and it looks and feels really nice when installed. Even better than how stock button feels.

 

I made a purchase of the button below for just $10. Though it is listed as LR094038 for Land Rover, but it is a perfect fit for my Jaguar XJL.

Do you know if the red plastic was removable from its bezel?

I would prefer a different color than red. My OCD would make me want to match it to the front grill emblem.
