id think $150 labor on the hood cut (2 hrs) for the job since the hood won't need painting and my louvers happen to be Polaris white already.
If you want a set in carbon fiber Mina has a set for $299. Another company has a chrome set too but I simply prefer the oem ones that are coded paint as the XJR does it.

So, are your saying the OEM XJR louvers come already painted in various factory code colors?
Do you happen to know the cost of the OEM XJR louvers for a pair?

Thanks in advance for any info you can supply.
I don't know the dealer cost but mine came white. I found them on line from a guy who was going to use them for his Crossfire. He is a mediator on the Crossfire sight and apparently this is a popular mod on those cars.
I have actually seen these on ebay as well. I think ebay UK and they were blue.
Another thing is I'm pretty sure the XF and the XJR louvers are the same. At least if they are different they are close enough to both work so don't think all that will work are the XJR louvers because we don't have the cutouts anyways. You'll have to have the louvers fabbed in.

Hi there, I am very interested in a chrome set of hood (we call it a bonnet) vents but have not been able to find them.

I've been considering those Mina carbon hood vents but for the price, I'm worried about the quality. It would seem that most of the aftermarket offerings for these cars is of lacking quality compared to OEM but still costly.
This guy did just that and man did it come out looking factory!
No idea on the total cost but welding all that Aluminum without distortions is a gift. Even worse it's on the hood where every second you drive the car those welds will be in your line of sight! So critical to get right.
He even made a special bit of tooling to press the mounting holes into a sheet of Aluminum then cut that out and welded it to the hood. I won't post any pictures but that thread is great to just look at all the nice custom metal work. Installing Hood Vents
My 2014 XJR came with the CF package which includes CF hood vents. I like them a lot! Bling for sure and I hope they do reduce the under hood temperatures some too?
The factory labels them "Supercharged" in the body color. Mine is IRR (Italian Racing Red).

I did, and ordered.
I also discovered that each dealership is a fanchise and all have different prices. I found prices from $156 - $351..... happy hunting
