Default Low Dust Brake Pads?

I put oem pads about 2000 miles ago on my XJ SC v8. The brake dust is incredible! Never seen anything like it.

I'm looking at Rock Auto selections now, any recommendations for low dust alternatives up front?

Are you looking for a particular model year fitment? Or just in general?
I've used the Power Stop Evolution pads for years now on different vehicles, and they're the cleanest & best performing that I've used.

I have used the Centric® Posiquiet ceramic pads on the XJ and any cars I do not track. They are cheap, quiet, and no dust. I removed the stock pads because the dust was ridiculous. After a couple mile trip the wheels need to be washed.

Sound good, that's what I'm looking for. The standard performance is fine. The OEM dust is absolutely incredible.

Just beware of the various different sized and shaped brake pads across the XJ range.
In general the SC versions have 380 mm front and 376 mm rear whilst the non-SC (NA) versions have 355 mm front and 325 mm rear.
