Which of the 3 fuel pumps did you replace? (it sounds like the in-tank LP one, but you weren't definitively specific)

As 12jagmark said are you sure those errors are for the in tank pump?
You might have problems with the gear driven HP fuel pumps mounted up on the passenger side of the engine?

Here is a thread and note the burned connectors. Inspection will tell if you have this issue or not.

I actually noticed the burned ground and connector when I installed the fuel pump in February I was able to find the correct connector and wire terminals to redo the whole connector so that is all new I found that thread when I was researching the problem the first time I also replaced two of the fuses in the rear seat latch just to make sure there wasn’t a issue with the fuses

I wonder if the ground burned out again?
Symptoms sure seem to be the same?
Might be worth a look just to double check? It might have more problems than just a connector? Can you measure that it has a good ground now?

Ok so I had to pickup the old oem fuel pump because it smelled like gas and fed ex wouldn’t pick it up I clearly can see the difference in the oem one and the one they gave me as a replacement it is surely a remanufactured fuel pump so I decided to throw the oem fuel pump back in since it still works but it did die out once so I’m not gonna keep it well it’s not throwing the code p008b or any other code but I have driven it and have seen fuel pressures drop down as far as 230 ish psi but the car didn’t sputter but once when the pressure was that low so where do I go from here

Maybe use a real OEM pump to replace yours?
Sounds like your aftermarket one has some kind of problem? Can you explain the re manufactured part? Fuel pumps are a wear item and I have always just replaced the entire pump with a new one?

clubairth1, since fed ex didn’t pick up the fuel pump I was able to compare them side by side it’s the whole fuel pump plastic housing fuel level everything just found out it was a remanufactured one by comparing it the connectors on the oem one even say Germany on it and the other doesn’t there are more differences
