Default Not happy with in control apps at all

What is this nonsense? When I connect the phone through in connect I can only play music on the phones 'hard drive' can't access any other music apps, can't use bluetooth and the music plays through the phone - not the car...

Any updates coming on this? Really surprised at how poor this system is set up

What apps are you trying to connect to?
When you say you can connect and use the phone’s music library is that only through the wired connection?
Have you paired the phone to the car?

So many questions which your dealer should be able to sort out.

Paired phone with Bluetooth - that works fine.

But the in control is lacking - I'd like to have my full media player available. I have Pandora, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music - but can only play what's actually downloaded on my phone - annoying.

Apple Car Play MUCH MUCH better

Honestly I'd like to be able to plug into USB to charge and control the phone - but can't - whatever

Without knowing which model and year of your Jaguar it sounds as though a CarPlay tuner is required to fulfil your needs

Also the USB plug is in the center console compartment.

This is by design. When plugged in the car's USB it assumes you want to play direct. Get yourself a power outlet car USB phone charger and use that for charging. This isn't just Jag that does this.

InControl Apps is pants. I don't bother using it at all. I stick with bluetooth audio.

You can turn off the app autostart though I can't remember how, this would prevent it happening whenever you plug it in.
