Recently picked up a 2011 XJL (351). Loving it although there are a few issues.
I've got hold of the cable and software SDD 165 but a bit clueless on the readings.
Attached are the screen shots, does anyone have any ideas what they mean?
Know problems:
1. rear entertainment screens not working.
2. Rain sensor wipers not working
3. button on door handles to lock not working
I've had the same issue with the door handles on my xj 2011. I got a used working door handle and just used the chrome strip with the button and installed it to my handle. I've only done the drivers door and have more ordered for the other doors
What are your mileage count now? Most of these codes have mileage mark 111-112 t miles and suspect are that the battery voltage have been dropped low on these mileages and caused multible codes.
Check from the Recomendations tab.
There should be position to clear all codes. You can try also Full Vehicle Reset function. (it will clear the codes and reset all nodes - solves many CAN bus based issues, what exsample just removing battery do not do)
Generally when you run a function (for instance I just ran the function to read TPMS sensor IDs) as the function completes, one of the actions as you're finishing/exiting the action is to clear all faults.
That does it.
If you are trying to find out what any DTC code means search the workshop manual and you should find a description associated with the module e.g. search B125E and look for description including REM

Reason: Better DTC example
Thanks for all of the responses.
I keep getting the same errors when trying to RUN a test:
Browser does not support PAGMCP ActiveX Controls
and attached picture saying TOPIX encountering problems
I'm connected to the internet but it won't progress.
SDD MUST use IE for the browser. What OS are you using?
What does SDD say when you try to download updates?
I recently ran into a cluster with SDD. I had a fully working Win7 Pro SDD setup. Connected to the Internet and always could download all updates. But apparently Jaguar has shut down the Win7 servers and SDD now requires Win10 or above. That was the first big mess trying to upgrade from Win7 Pro to Win 10 Pro.
After all that the next problem is Win10 only can use Edge not IE anymore. So you need to fiddle with Edge and make some changes to force it into a IE compatibility mode. This again was fairly complicated but I manged to get it done with some instructions I found.
Not sure if this is your problem but do post back if possible.

I use SDD 166 with my Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook on a daily basis and no problems connecting to the servers for updates etc.
Thanks for the added information as I also had no problems until recently. I went looking for explanations/threads and found several that claimed Jaguar had changed the servers and you could not contact them anymore with the Win7 versions. Apparently they were wrong as your experience shows.
Several weeks later sure enough mine stopped connecting and I could no longer get updates. Then the update timer keep nagging me to update but I no longer could.
Now I did just find and down load V166. I have not installed it as my current V165.xxx is working fine with Win10.
Do you think the version differences could explain what I ran into?
Here is how to use Win10 and force Edge into IE mode if your interested. SDD Thread

I have heard that earlier versions of SDD are no longer able to contact the servers - pre 164 - but I never experienced that myself because I always update mine to the latest version as soon as I see it has been released. Perhaps the pre 164 problems only relates to Win 7 machines and one can overcome that by using WIN 10 & 11.
My Toughbook is fairly old and low spec so wont try to update it to a newer Windows version until such time as its absolutely necessary but I have done the Edge work around on another laptop for a colleague. It worked fine and is useful to now that the option is there when the time comes that I have to use it.
Can you install a new version over an existing version? Or should I uninstall V165 before trying to install V166?
I ask because all of my version changes have been driven by software disasters of some sort that required me to wipe the machine and start over. But I had saved an image of my machine before I installed SDD (Yes I learned this from experience too!) so I can quickly get back to a spot where I know things were working and just focus on the SDD problems.
I do like the idea to use the most current version.
I did find the page talking about no connection of the JLR servers. V165 Network Problems

I always install the new over the old without any problems but I am not sure if it will allow it if you tried to jump a couple of versions. For example going from 161 to 166.
However, when installing from the downloaded file and not having SDD do the download and update, you may need to enter your user data and what ever trickery you have to get it fully functional.
