hi could anyone help i have 2014 jag xj351 should the led strips light up when on auto or of if not is there a fix for this

 

Vernon, ify ou take your car to the dealership, they can reprogram a computer and make those lights come on and act like DRLs. May cost you a few bucks, but it can be done. We also have a hack here that uses a relay and you can do the same thing. But, that requires a little bit of wiring knowledge to make work. So, may be more than you are willing to do.

 

FYI, if the dealer turns on DRL on a pre 2016 XJ both the led strops and the low beam headlights come on as the LED strips are are not bright enough to qualify as legal DRL. So if you want just the LED strops tto light you will have to perform the hack ad stated by Thermo. Just do a search on the forum and you can find the thread that has all the parts and diagrams you will need.
