Software update to enable/disable the paddle shifters

Do any of the techs know if the software update to enable/disable the paddle shifters so that they work in either Sport mode or Drive & Sport mode is available for MY2012?

I thought i would be able to help by linking the thread i remember seeing on here regarding the paddle shifters.
