I have a MY2015 portfolio.it has the very last of the dual screens before pro touch screen was introduced.
It has had an ongoing issue with the navigation map going black about half the time. The navigation still takes instruction and advises routes in writing and voice guidance.it is also dual screen. The dealer doesn’t know what it is and has been trying to find a replacement screen for 6 months . One was an early pre meridian screen non dual with no functionality for rear seats massage or media. They then ordered one from uk but it took 3 months till they came into stock. Today it was installed but it doesn’t seem to have the meridian sound modelling and I can’t get it to dual screen.
Can anyone tell me if these screens can be programmed from the old screen or if there are software updates.
The dealer knows nothing about it and assumed plugging in a new screen would be fully functional. HELP!!
