Have found company that said they can do it in about 6 hrs for £350+vat either software fix or module based same price

Shoutout to @H20boy and the other member posts here. Your sharing and experiences helped me a great deal.
I wanted to build on this thread and share back my own experiences in the hope it will help others in the same way.

This thread inspired me to to purchase and install a 'video-in-motion' unit from navtool for my 2010 XJ Jaguar.
The unit works beautifully and a long press of the 'menu' button is all that is needed to activate / deactivate the video-in-motion capability.
Install pics below with some tips to build upon the work others have shared.
