Default Wood steering wheel in a Supercharged?

I'm shopping for an XJ Supercharged short wheelbase and want a wood steering wheel like the Portfolio, but haven't been able to find one. Is it only available in the Portfolio trim?

Steering wheels are sold all the time on Ebay for about $300 or less you just have to match your trim color and veneer.

I have a half-wood half-leather steering wheel in my SC.

That being said, and like XJsss said, you could always swap the steering wheel. I havent tried it in years, but i have swapped steering wheels and it really wasnt very complicated.

Thanks, specifically I'm looking for burl walnut 1/2 wood 1/2 leather steering wheel that seems to be found only in the Portfolio trim.

I have the half wood/half leather wheel on my short wheelbase 2014 5.0L XJ Supercharged. So it must be available.

Here's mine, a 2013 5.0LSC SWB, not a Portfolio. The outer circumference is burl wood and the inner is leather.

The matching wood on the doors is gorgeous.

Keep in mind if you do buy a steering wheel there are 2 parameters 1, the wood and 2 the leather color.

My Supersport came with a 1/2 wood (burl). 1/2 leather wheel (black)

I replaced it with an all leather wheel.

I'll sell it cheap if anyone is interested. PM me

Why did you change to all leather?

Does anyone know if Portfolio comes in short wheelbase?

Wolfy,

Did you read my Post #7, above? My 2013 XJ is a supercharged 470HP 5.0L, short wheelbase, not a Portfolio, and came from the factory with the wood and leather steering wheel, which was a no-charge option.

Isn't this what you're looking for?

Stuart

I just prefer the feel of all leather. Sportier. The wood looks better though.

That's a good point and I guess why the XJR only has leather-no wood option.
Kind of thought on the Hi-Po version Jaguar might install a flat bottom steering wheel like the F-Types get?
