Hi All.

Great sunny weather for driving a Jag.

I opened the sunroof blind, to let the rays in but when closing, it stops 10mm shy.
Plenty of slack on roller, tried to encourage it along, but stiff.
Checked the rails and they seem clear.
Tried the reset by holding the close button for 45 seconds, but doesn't work. Perhaps because the blind isn't shut?

Any other suggestions from the collective?

 

There are an sunroof reset procedure descripted on Owners handbook.
Fixed my one some years ago, but it took few times. (have to hold the button quite long time, so take a good position.)
