G'day,

I replaced mine a while ago and got them from here https://www.limora.com/en/ and they were exxpensive.

Here is the part number and if you google it you will find other suppliers.

JLM12161

Cheers,
Jeff.

P.S. I replaced my springs as I thought they had sagged but when I got the new ones they were exactly the same length! Made no difference to the ride. I have ordered new top and bottom spring spacers to see if that will lift the front a bit.

Berkshire Jag Components in the UK says they have them. Not sure if they’re OEM or aftermarket, though.

I'm in St Catharines, and have a couple of parts cars, if used is okay.

I'm interested in this thread too - with a 1996 XJ12 and looking to raise the front ride height. Have done shocks with no big difference, and my understanding is the springs more affect the height. Have assumed some sagging of the original springs with almost 30 years of engine weight on them. I also found the Berkshire Jag ones, but I'm wondering what the difference is in the XJ6 vs XJ12 springs? Welsh and SNG Barratt both appear to have springs for the XJ6...
Also noticed the higher spring spacers (MNA2162BA) mentioned by watto...If I'm going to mess with springs I'd like to have some good info that it'll be worth the effort and money...
Thanks guys...

G'day W,

If you look here https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...-jaguar-parts/ you will find different part numbers for the front springs for all the different car models.

When I replaced my front springs the new ones were exactly the same free length as the old ones though the front clearance did rise a little.

Cheers,
Jeff.

I would have thought just putting the MNA2162BA higher sping spacers in would do the job as well as new springs unless the car has v high mileage and weak springs. They are pretty beefy, a bit frightening when releasing and tightening back up. Doubt they would collapse like an econobox spring.
