Default 19 x 9.5 rims

Does anyone know if 19x9.5 rims would fit on 2000 xj8? I know the height would work but have no idea on the width?

I think the answer requires a bit more data, namely what ET / positive offset do you expect to be running with 9.5" rim.

Yes you are absolutely right...the offset is +36mm, I completely missed that!

Normal offset is +49.
So with these rims you would have the external edge of the rim protruding 13 mm + 6 mm (1/4") = about 2 cm more on the outside.
Maybe still acceptable for not rubbing, to be checked.
Depends also on the tires you would install: if keeping 255/40 R19, it should be OK.
