Hey, new to Jaguar and happy to become part of this forum. thanks for all the help i get here in advance.

My son just bought a xj8 and sure enough it has a CEl already. i'm somewhat familiar with CEL on other vehicles but just need a boost for jags.

How does one get the code from the auto. is there an ODBDII connection or some other thest port.

also what is the best repair manual for the vehicle. my motto is if you own a car, you gotto on a shop manual for it.
