My '04 x350 has only 3/4" pedal adjustment to it, and I know that's not right. When I look up under the foot well area, it appears that both brake and gas have their own separate mechanisms. I can't see a common link that would control both simultaneously, so I'm guessing it's a common electronic sensor that controls both pedals? If anyone can edify me on how that works, I would be most appreciative and humbled. I want to have control of both, but would rather not replace both assemblies if there is only one component that's bad.
