Default Airline olive source

I am thinking I should change the metal "olive" on the air compressor outlet. Removed twice now.
Where are they available?

Default ferrule

Panelhead,

Here is a link to my same question.

The pump line uses the same olive as the line connection. I searched locally but no one had this unique olive (ferrule in the USA) as it is flat on the bottom. Most shops here in the US will only have SAE, Some will have metric but not like the one you need. If you buy this line fitting at a dealer it will come with the ferrule. Part #C2C9930 - 4mm , about $10. The dealership does not have single ferrules for sale.

A tip I've learned about the ferrule...it does not provide the seal...it only holds the line in place. After breaking my second one, I just used a razor blade to snip off the bottom 1/8 or 1/4 of the line. I placed the two halves of the ferrule back in the connection and it holds. Verify with soapy water solution.

I am in Mexico this month. Might look for a dealer but only seen a couple Jaguars. I will hope a Houston dealer has the 4 and 6 mm in stock.

The Jaguar listing for C2C9930 and C2C9931 has pictures that confuse me. This is in a Jaguar parts sheet. May just buy both.

Check my posts. I posted the part numbers for both 6mm & 4mm sizes.

You will get the nut, o ring and olive. Jaguar only sells as a set. (Meaning parts to service 1 air line fitting)

I purchased mine from SNGBarrett.

They take about 2 weeks to arrive. I personally stocked up and ordered extra ones for down the line.

Your looking at $8 - $10 each I believe.

You have to cut back the airline about 3/8 to 1/2" - do not try to put a new olive back on the same spot on the air line. It will not seal right.

There are actually oem spec shears to ensure a square clean cut to the air line. This is also important if using a blade.

Take your time..
