Default Backup Camera using PAC VCI-X device

I have a 2005 Vanden Plas (XJ8) that I have installed a PAC VCI-X in the trunk and attached it to the NAV controller. The backup camera image looks fine, but the normal NAV display is slowly scrolling and jittery. The PAC VCI-X device was a used purchase, but did not include the DB9 cable. I then found a pin color code on-line, and made my own pigtail cable. Below is the wire color layout for the female pin connector, which I used to solder the back of the male connector.

Below you see the NAV Controller plug where the 4 wires are cut and spliced into the PAC.

I then connected the red power wire on the front to an accessory power wire and grounded the black wire to the chassis.

I also grounded the white wire on the back of the PAC for the trigger and ran the blue wire to a relay attached to the negative backup light wire. The relay also provided the backup camera power. Then I plugged the backup camera video feed to the Video 2 port on the PAC.

Upon testing the backup camera, the image was great, but when returning the transmission to the park setting the NAV image scrolled down slowly and jittered. Same problem on just starting up the car.

I appreciate any advice.

Have not had anything to do with this however is it the difference between the two signals frequency - 50H vs 60H?

There is another thread where that happens and that seemed to be picking the wrong one of two black wires.

No, I tried changing the jumper on the inside of the PAC to the other frequency and it just got worse. Thanks for the suggestion though.
