Bad Guys=British Diagnostics
British Diagnostics is the absolute worst. Do not, under any circumstances do business with them. Ordered a cable and software kit from them. Took forever to come in. When it arrived no software, no instructions (like their description said it would come with). Attempted to contact many times. Zero response. Had to open a dispute.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BRITISH DIAGNOSTICS!

How good are you with computers?
A friend followed the instructions on the thumb drive & downloaded mine.
Seems he had no issue downloading it to my computer
Played with it a little, & it seems to read all the modules fine.
Read both good and bad stories about their cables.
Very lucky there, my cable is a genuine Mongoose.
Good Luck to you

I am very good with computers. It was my business before I retired. I never got a thumb drive. All they sent was a knock off cable. Nothing else. I have since found another solution and have been using it fine. The lack of any response to my request for assistance is the root of the Bad Guy rating. No response at all.
Sorry to hear of your problems, not very good at computers myself.
All i ordered was the thumb drive, i already had the Mongoose cable.
They did take their sweet time getting it to me.
Glad the cable works for you

I'm sorry to hear that. They treated me well, but that was 10 years ago in 2014. Seems like support for our cars is drying up every which way we turn.

T'was ever thus.
Owner of the Cadillac he went off to serve in PA State, then later US Congress in, had the same problem, back in '61-'62 .....when it was still only about 25 years old.
Two schoolmates of mine had landed the teen-car-nut's "dream job": Doing the basic prep for repaint, new upholstery, other restoral .....so he could drive it in parades....
Mind, there had been far fewer of them BUILT to begin with than our 'mass production' Jaguars.
