Default bluetooth mic issue

Hello everyone,

I recently installed (with the help of this forum) the bluetooth pse, module and mic into my 2004 VDP.

All is well in that I can pair my phone and all of the controls work with no issues. However, when I am on a call, I can hear the other party fine. They cannot hear me.

I have verified that the optical cables are in the correct order, disconnected the battery, and rechecked that the mic was plugged into the socket correctly all to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea where I should go from here?

Thanks in advance,
Guppy

Did you install a Voice module or a bypass cable? The mic signal goes trough the VCM then to the PSE.

Thanks for the reply. There is no voice module. I did see that some installs had some sort of dummy plug on the voice module plug. Is this what I need to direct the mic signal to the PSE?

Thanks again for the reply....
