I have a 2005 xj8 x350 4.2 supercharged and I am trying to locate the Bluetooth module unit, have tried the boot there is a 6 cd multi changer and a dvd player, have looked under spare wheel any help please.

IF you have one it will be in the rack that houses the DVD player and multi disc unit.

You have to take the trim off to see.

 

Thanks Jackra 1. There is only the dvd and cd multichanger, would the wires and connector be there so if i buy a second hand unit it would just mean plugging it in do you know.?.

 

You may or may not have the optical connectors and the electrical plugs present. The electrical plugs are grey and taped up, if they are there, behind everything.

D2B optic cable is available on Ebay and can be used to add in another module, such as a bluetooth module, into the existing closed loop.

If they are present you would also need a microphone and an aerial.

I bought my bluetooth unit on Ebay along with an OEM microphone that I installed in the roof console along with a BMW aerial.
