Clarification: Adjusting High Beam Headlights
I have read a fair amount of, if not conflicting, you could say differing info on our Headlights and methods to adjust them. Here is my issue, and I am hoping to get some clarity on this.
There are some eary cars that use the air suspension to level the car, and thus the headlights. They do so in a smart way, always leveling the rear of the car first, and then the front in an attempt to mitigate blinding oncoming drivers. My car, a 2007 Vanden Plas doesn't have any of this, nor does it appear to have any automated or motorized headlamp aiming mechanism. What it does have is a 6mm hex fitting that allows vertical adjustment of the low beam HID (previously called "Xenon") headlights. They work well, are bright, white and focused decently through a projector lens.
The high beam adjust is in the middle of the housing - The presumably High Beam adjust is over the inner housing - except it doesn't appear to do anything - I have spent a lot of time running the adjuster from one extreme to another - with virtually no notable effect. I will post a few pics of these when I get home from work today. Except my high beams leak light pointing almost straight up.
Any thoughts, experiences, instructions etc. would be SO appreciated!!!

The 6mm hex white adjuster is all I have.
I have adusted mine and you should see the effect very quickly.
It sounds to me that yours has 'let go'
I can only imagine that you are faced with removing the unit
and dismantling it to attempt a repair.
Used ones are not cheap.

Note that BOTH of the inner adjustments toward center of car do nothing. There is no problem with my headlight aim at present. I just need to find out what the inner adjusters do, as my high beams seem to leak a bit of light upward. Anyone?
