Default Drive shaft flex coupling ?

Hello,

I am continuing to find issues with the '05 Super V8 that i bought two weeks ago....imagine that....lol
The rear flex coupling appears to be very dry rotted. In my search/surfing and phone calls it would seem there is not a listing anywhere for our X350's.
Has anyone come up with a cross reference part number ?
I have even looked for a Lincoln LS to no avail.
Someone, somewhere has to have found a part for us to use.
ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED !

Max

There are some threads in the forum about the topic, as Jaguar indeed only sold the whole propshaft, including the flex couplings, as a spare part. The official reasoning was that only like that they could make sure that the propshaft is properly balanced.
As new propshafts seem not to be available anymore, and they cost a lot, the issue becomes ever more urgent...

It seems that the fle couplings from the S-Type also fit our cars. If I remember correctly, the part no. is C2C12747.

I have recently bought the following (I know, shipping within Europe is cheaper even with the Brexit...), but I have not yet fitted them. THey are advertised as "OEM", and indeed they come from the same (German! And still I was not successful in finding finding the part in Germany) manufacturer as the ones on my car...

Best regards,

Thomas

Seems Jaguar offers the propshaft complete and the JURID flanges are NSS. (no sold or serviced separately)

The S-Type is likely the same so I would try C2C12747 for just the flexible coupling.
