Hello All,

I have a 2004 X350 Super V8 with a few fault codes:-
P2583 - Forward looking sensor
P1696 - Adaptive speed control CAN link
B2414 - Headlamp washer relay circuit short ground
U3FF6 - No description available
B2309-25 - No description available
B2309-31 - No description available

On the internet, I have found that the forward looking sensor is prone to corrosion so I will take a look at that and see how it is, is the second fault code linked to that?
The headlamp washer is apparently a non-serviceable relay... bugger! Or could it be something else?
I cannot find any information for the last 3, except the first one is from the rear electronics module and the other two are from the rear seat module, the only modifications to the rear of the car is a non-standard dvd player.
Could anyone help with diagnosing these?

 

Without the benefit of a service manual I would venture that the headlight washers are leaking onto the forward sensor as a best guess. Most car codes are in order of severity. Fix the first code and maybe the second then erase all codes to see if any return.
