Default Front seat removal

Hi everybody
I am wondering since my driver seat Lhd xj8 x350 is stuck in a low, all the way back position with the electric motors or the switches not working anymore , how to get them out or
at least rised so i could reach the connectors?
Passenger seat does work , Batterie is new and I checked the ground in the engine bay as well as the ones in the trunk.
I AM GOING THO CHECK THE FUSES NOW WHILE WAITING FOR SOME SUGGESTIONS
I can undo the front torx screws easely but the 4 torx in the back are currently hidden by the sled of the chair.
I am also worried about the AIRBAG S , should I disconnect the batterie while I am working on it and maybe give it a hard reset as well?

Nope , maybe a torx bit would fit when the sled is all the way to the back.. Luckily the seat is in a good position for me.
A flat file might fit as well to grind them down . But i rather look for other options

Do the seat memory switches still work on the door?

Die grinder would work a lot better than a file.
Using a bolt with a head on it, when you replace the torx bolt.
That way a ratchet wrench, would work for you the next time.

No the memory switches ,well I dont know never really tried hard enough to find out . Since my driving position is perfect . Pedals do work steering does an the knob on the collumn stays off automatic. No need for that but ... maybe the automatic is the reason for the motors beiing done for good after sll those years and miles climbing in and out three owners.maybe more drivers. But the 2x40 amp and one 10 amp fuses are fine under neath the glovebox
it's a 2003 xj8 with 205.000 miles

The VERY REASON i leave the settings off of automatic adjusting.
The motors will eventually stop working, and then you have a problem.
New contact brushes, just may fix your motors.
Made of carbon, and are the wear parts, along with bearings, in electric motors
