2004 XJR-- Ok, supposedly the fuel filter runs along right under the car under driver door somewhere, I can find no panel to take off to expose it?? Where is the darn thing??

 

called jag and they said it should be underneath the car where the pedals sit????????

It's on the left side of the car, but! You have to first remove the the plastic cover...that's the really long, like 5 ft plastic cover. I can't remember for sure, but I think I may have had to remove the front cover to remove the rear one.

 

I may be incorrect, but I understood it to be under the drivers side fender well (Left side looking towards rear) meaning the plastic liner must be removed to replace. Can anyone validate?
