Default Fuel pump code p2634 Pierberg insert
Is this something I can bring to a mechanic or will the mechanic insist on me bringing the entire assembly? I’m not sure how involved the insert swap is.

The DTC indicates a fault in a fuel pump control circuit.

A Pierburg insert is an air flow sensor

?

It’s the fuel pump insert that’s use in the E39 M5. I just found out about it on the forum. The post was a few years old so I thought I’d ask instead of asking in the years old thread.
