Full load breather hose replacement
04 XJR... trying to change this hose because it was brittle and cracked easy to take it off breather but the back side is buried behind throttle body and I don't think I can get my hands in there anyone have a idea how to do this?
In the interim I wrapped my hose with electrical tape.
Remove the wipers, pull off plastic cowl under wipers, disconnect washer hose. Remove firewall to strut tower braces. Remove plastic firewall that holds insulation. You should now have room to access the rear side of the engine where the throttle body is at. For extra visual clearance you can remove the cabin filter box to get a good view from the fender side. Seems like a lot to do but it's not really.
