My X350 air conditioning has stopped, it looks like the fan is not working as no air is emitting from the vents. So the first thing I should check is the fuse, but where the devil is the CABIN FUSE BOX ? I would expect it to be somewhere under the dash, but cannot see it or any panel to pull down. Help needed.
Thanks Wingrider, I am searching to see if I can find a module in Australia as to get one from overseas could take up to a couple of months and we are just starting our summer and A/C is almost mandatory.
Thanks Meirion, If I can locate a module then I will be doing the job. The directions from Xalty look comprehensive, however if you can find your wright up I would appreciate it as you can never have too much information.
I have found and ordered a module from the main Jaguar/LandRover dealer. It has to be shipped from Melbourne so by mid next week things should be cool once again.
Whilst I am awaiting my new module to arrive I thought I would tackle the job of glove box removal. So a couple of questions.
1. I am guessing I do not need to take off the glove box lid. Is this correct?
2. The diagram/instructions in the workshop manual (item 2) instructs to "Reposition the glove box compartment shelf" with a picture showing it. My glove box does not have this shelf so do I just disregard this bit?
3. Just confirming the screws to be removed circled in the photo (and 2 more on the other side) and the small one arrowed.
4. Item 5 in the manual states to remove screws from the upper part of the glove box. I am assuming they are inside the box but mine are missing. There are 4 holes where it looks like screws should be but are missing (taken off sometime ago and not replaced?) But the diagram shows 5 screws and bolts, where are the bolts?
There is, or was a shelf inside the glove box.
I don't remember removing the lid.
Just follow the instructions, & find ALL the fasteners.
Getting it out, & back in is a bit of a pain, just be patient.
It will come out, & go back in, the insulation on mine, didn't survive though.
